Es war sehr schön, Simone Silva hat viel erklärt, v.a. zur Geschichte Portugals, von Lissabon, Cascais und Sintra, und sie hat sich nie aus der Ruhe bringen lassen, wenn z.B. Zufahrten gesperrt waren wegen eines Marathons usw. Die Größe der Gruppe mit 8 Personen ist optimal. Deshalb eindeutig "Beide Daumen hoch!"

What a great day! Our guide was so knowledgeable of the places and the history of them - he was happy to answer any questions and looked after the group very well throughout the day. As a solo traveller I got to sit at the front so all the couples would be together, for once a perk to being solo! Timings for each stop were great and really I could not fault anything about the experience at all. At one stage we walked past another tour guide who was telling his group things that were not true! If you are interested in history then I highly recommend this tour.

Only feedback: consider a guided tour in Cascais/Sintra for like 15-20 min then allow for free time (free time was so nice but I had to chatGPT a bit). For people who like to travel it’s a must see Sinatra, Pena palace and Cascais. It’s a day long trip from Lisbon but well worth the time and the money. Miguel our guide excellent by keeping us informed with for the entire trip. He also was able to provide answers to all our questions.

I don’t have enough positive things to say about our tour. Aside from the comfortable van the timing of the tour is perfect. You end up about 30 minutes ahead of the crowds and large tour buses. Recommendations for lunch and in Cascais were all great.

He pointed out various restaurants and cafes to try and did a great job describing the history of the city and answering all of our questions. Sinatra and Palace My wife and I had a great guided tour. Our guide, Miguel Câmara Leme, was very pleasant and well versed on Portuguese history and the Sintra history and area. His English was fluent and his presentation clear and excellent. Miguel kept us and 3 other couple engaged throughout the day and our destinations as we traveled. His driving was excellent and very safe. Miguel was very considerate and conscientious of everyone on the tour, learning all our names immediately and engaging and involving us throught the experience.
The tour had us dropped conveniently at 2 different locations to explore with a pick up times for both that gave us enough time to get familiar with what each had to offer. The second stop was the furthest western part of Portugal and Europe. A fantastic view in an ecologically sensitive area.
We finished at the palace where Miguel made sure to point out every detail of importance to the building and history of the site.

Friends We had the best day with Miguel! He picked us up at our Airbnb right on time and we got on the road. He is so personable and a wealth of knowledge! We all loved Caicais! And Cabo Da Roca had beautiful views of the water. Weather was spectacular! We had been disappointed that the. National Tile Museum was closed during our visit, but Miguel taught us so much about tile! And his knowledge of the Pena Palace is second to none. He knows all of the ends and outs. It is a bit of a hike to get up to it and I forgot to bring water with me, but he took us to directly to the cafeteria for bottles of cold water and a few minutes of rest. He provided excellent recommendations for lunch and we spent close to 10 hours together, but it went by quickly and was like spending time with an old friend. Cannot recommend Miguel enough!

Solo John was fantastic. Our tour coincided with a marathon and futbol match that caused road closures, but we made every scheduled stop (even after initially being turned around at Cabo da Roca because the road was closed). John was very knowledgeable and accommodating.

Phil was totally amazing on our tour today. He is funny, kind, smart and very well spoken. He is happy to promote Portugal and we learned a great deal on our multi town tour. This is a very busy day but a lot of fun and totally worth the money. Having a guide like Jaoa was great because he was so knowledgeable and fun.

Mario is an outstanding guide. He is so knowledgeable about the areas we were visiting and its history. We packed a lot of stops in but never felt rushed. He had recommendations of places to grab a coffee, meal, or pastry at every location. I was nervous about the walk up to Pena Palace but he bought me a shuttle ticket and made it very easy. the locations and views were stunning. Highly recommend!

Der Ausflug war dank miguel einer der besten Ausflüge, die ich je gebucht habe. wir waren nur eine kleine gruppe und wurden am morgen schon sehr herzlich empfangen. unterwegs erklärte miguel uns alles über die einzelen orte und deren geschichte. an den einzelnen stops hatten wir auch genug zeit, um alles zu sehen und es war kein gehetze wie bei so manch anderen ausflügen von anderen anbietern . Miguel hatte immer ein lächeln im gesicht und man merkte schnell, dass er mit vollen herzen diese ausflüge leitet. man hatte das gefühl mit freunden unterwegs zu sein. am ende des ausfluges ist man glücklich und mit vielen erinnerungen und eindrücken zum hotel zurück. ein ganz grosses danke an miguel für diesen wundervollen tag.

This day trip was an unforgettable experience! It was our favorite day in our entire trip to Portugal. The palace is stunning and unlike anything we had seen. On this trip, you get to stop in 3 places, all with magnificent views, and plenty of time to enjoy pictures, shopping, and a bite to eat! Miguel, our tour guide, is who made this day trip the BEST experience. He has a magical zest for life and is a wealth of knowledge. It felt like you were traveling with a friend all day. I am glad we took this tour of Cascais, Cabo, Sintra and Pena Palace. All logistics and Pena Palace entry were taken care of. For example, we didn’t need to wait in the long line for Pena Palace entry. Thanks to our guide Ricardo, we appreciated all those beautiful sights and monuments even more. Ricardo took us through the history of Portugal, explaining each sight by linking it to history and culture. He pointed out significant objects, explaining the symbolism behind them, such as rope shaped columns representing Portugal’s maritime expertise. Ricardo also gave us suggestions for restaurants and Fado bars for the rest of our stay. We all fully recommend this tour.

This was such a great tour experience! Firat was an excellent tour guide - so knowledgeable, warm and friendly, and really helped us get to know Sintra and Cascais. He gave great recommendations and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day! Pena Palace was absolutely a highlight, and totally worth the short walk straight uphill, although we stuck with just the exterior tickets which ended up being perfect. The beaches of Cascais were beautiful as well and we were lucky enough to have some sunshine and drive along the coast on the way back to Lisbon. The timing was excellent throughout the day with enough time at each stop to really enjoy Portugal, and Firat was flexible with any changes that needed to be made throughout the trip. The service all day was top quality, and I will absolutely be looking forward to another Unique Journey tour in the future.

The monastery was gorgeous and well worth the visit. We were happy to have a guided tour which enabled us to skip a huge line for entry. Unfortunately, the church was closed for renovations. The pasteis de Belem were terrific (though we tasted better ones elsewhere) and we were again able to skip a huge line. The monument was terrific but the tower had scaffolding. We took many tours while in Lisbon and found our guide on this tour merely average - not as informative, not as clear and possibly hungover.

An excellent day - Firat (Unique Journeys) was brilliant. The right blend of local knowledge, side stories and helpful advice/tips on what to do during the free time elements of the day. Highly recommended.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir unseren Guide Ricardo. Er ist eine Klasse für sich. Unglaublich hilfsbereit, immer gut gelaunt und hat ein außergewöhnliches Fachwissen über die Paläste und die Region. Man merkt sofort, dass er seinen Job liebt. Kleiner Tipp: Regenjacke mitnehmen, das Wetter kann am Schloss schnell umschlagen, auch wenn es gerade noch gut aussieht. Cascais is een schitterend vissersdorp/badplaats. We waren vroeg waardoor veel nog dicht was, maar een kop koffie met pastel de nata in de zon was heerlijk. Cabo is mooi om te zien. Het meest westelijke punt van Europa. Sintra is ook een toeristisch dorp. Het draait om de paleizen. Die zijn heel mooi

Een volle en interessante dag vol weetjes en info. Oppikadres was duidelijk, vertrek héél stipt( zelfs wat vroeger) en Ricardo was zeer enthousiast om ons te entertainen.

We had a wonderful day with three different locations. Enjoyed the beach walk, nice seafood lunch at Nazere. Also really enjoyed walking the narrow streets and the medieval stone walls of Obidos.

The pace of the day was excellent. Our guide, Miguel, had a wealth of knowledge and informed us about many things at certain venues but also in between venues. But he also allowed us to have time to wander and explore by ourselves.

We really loved the fact that it was small vans and not a large bus. So it felt more intimate and personal, which is what we were looking for!

We had a wonderful guide in Ricardo! He was extremely knowledgeable about the Portuguese history. It was a very comfortable van ride to Cascais, then to Sintra, and finally Pena. It was a nice was to see and visit both Cascais and Sintra, however it was not near enough time to really see much. If you want to visit Sintra and actually have time to see and visit the palaces then this isn’t for you. Overall we enjoyed our time.

The best trip of my life! I don't know what more to say, because there were so many wonderful moments. Miguel, the guide, will remain in our hearts forever. He was very warm, friendly, and cared for the entire group and each individual. He spoke engagingly about the sights and recommended places to eat. He took care of us and our safety. I dare to say the guide also arranged the weather for us, because despite the fog in the morning, beautiful sun appeared around 10:00, right on time! We were on the trip with my now-fiancé, that's how we got engaged btw at Cabo da Roca. This day and trip are memorable not just for the engagement, but for the people, atmosphere , the jokes, the getting-to-know-you, and the experience. I would spend a million times that amount of money to meet Miguel again and again! I highly recommend this one; the itinerary and the execution are perfect for spending the day.

Was a great day ! Wonderful guide and nice van. Didn’t seem too long of a drive between spots. Def not a lot of waves to see at Nazare but still a quaint town right in the beach. Fatima was impressive. Favorite was Obidos. Didn’t know anything about the town. Such a great authentic very old town. Loved the feel of it. Could’ve stayed there a few days.

Our trip with Diogo was fantastic! I truly loved the time we spent in Fatima. Diogo was very easy to talk to and gave us plenty of recommendations with regards what we needed to see and do. We had a delicious lunch in Nazare in a water front restaurant. Then we went to Obido, beautiful town very picturesque and we tried Ginjinha Liquor. Overall it was an excellent day.

Day Tour to Sintra, Pena Palace Our tour with Simone Silva was amazing. We were not rushed at any time and wandered at a comfortable pace. Simone was full of information and very personable. Our guide Ricardo was outstanding - he met us at the meeting point - we were a few minutes late but he was polite and reassuring . He took us to the very comfortable transport and once we set off he pointed out sites and explained a lot about the history of Lisbon and Portugal . He guided us around Pena Palace and his explanations were fascinating . He ensured we had comfort breaks and helped us with photos . We next lunched in Sintra and he recommended a number of possible lunch venues - the one we chose was excellent . We then travelled to Cabo and enjoyed the views before finishing the tour in Cascais. Ricardo could not have been more helpful . His English was exceptionally good and his knowledge of each place we visited was amazing . He was charming polite and flexible throughout the tour . We had a fabilous time in a trip! We had a bit of an alternative tour to the one booked as the weather didn't allow for a visit to Pena Palace. Our tour guide was Diogo who was super friendly and knowledgeble and gave us some great reccomendarions. Diogo quickly became one of the highlights of our entire trip and genuielnly got along! Absolutely an asset of a Tour guide to the company. Me and my partner Daniel were super grateful that the tour didn't get canceled! We got taken care of and take around to all the other locations and had a fantastic time. Highly reccomend booking with this service provider their communication and customer service is fantastic even before the trip I had to contact them and got a response very quickly.

Znakomicie zorganizowana wycieczka. Bardzo precyzyjnie zaplanowana, ciekawa i dosyć kompleksowa. Przewodnik okazał się mega komunikatywnym, świetnie przygotowanym facetem mówiącym doskonale po angielsku. Nawet w aucie opowiadał bardzo ciekawe anegdoty na temat życia codziennego. Sehr tolle Tour mit einem tollem Guide

Ricardo was a great guide. Our trip was on a Sunday and we got an hour to spend at our first stop at Cascais around 9:30am which was a tad bit too early since the businesses were just opening up. Other than this, the rest of the trip was great. Sintra and Pena palaces are definitely the highlights!

Our guide, Ricardo, was the best. We were fortunate enough to be the only couple on the trip - still, he gave us full and constant attention with flexibility for timings, deep knowledge of history and so much information. We really have no idea how to improve on an already superb service. Also a shout-out to GetMyGuide whom we have used several times now - always easy to use, reliable and excellent value for money.
